Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They snuck past the Livingston Lancers with a 56-52 win on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Farmers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Lancers are ranked 51st).

The win snapped Union's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-8 record. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Union will square off against Westfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Livingston, they will face off against Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
