Wonewoc-Center took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Hillsboro, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves skirted past the Tigers 3-2. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Tigers on their court since September 28, 2023.

Wonewoc-Center found their leader in freshman Faith Daugs, who had 21 digs and six assists.

Wonewoc-Center's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Hillsboro, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-15.

Coincidentally, Wonewoc-Center and Hillsboro will both be playing Royall the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolves will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
