Basketball Game Preview: Central Heights Blue Devils vs. Diboll Lumberjacks

Central Heights and Diboll are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Central Heights Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Diboll Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Central Heights' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Diboll has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, Central Heights beat Pineywoods Community Academy 49-38.

Meanwhile, Diboll lost 56-30 to Pineywoods Community Academy on Wednesday. The game marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Central Heights has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Diboll, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Central Heights beat Diboll 62-55 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Central Heights repeat their success, or does Diboll have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
