Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Mishawaka Marian Knights took a blow against the Culver Community Cavaliers, falling 69-36. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Mishawaka Marian had strong showings from Kariya Byer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Sydney Mcintee, who posted nine points. Byer is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played.

Mishawaka Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Culver Community, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

As for Culver Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-37 victory against Oregon-Davis on the 10th.
