The Howland Tigers won the last time they faced the Poland Seminary Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Howland enjoyed a cozy 50-34 win over Poland Seminary.

Howland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Henry, who scored eight points along with eight assists. That's the first time this season that Henry posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Anthony Chieffo, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.

The victory got Howland back to even at 6-6. As for Poland Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howland will square off against Austintown-Fitch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Austintown-Fitch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. As for Poland Seminary, they will head out on the road to face off against Struthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Struthers will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while Poland Seminary is ranked 146th).
