Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for University

University waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against South Harrison by a score of 6-3.

The team relied heavily on Brance McCune, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colson Jenkins, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

The win got University back to even at 10-10. As for South Harrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Coming up, University will take on Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Harrison has already played their next matchup (against Moorefield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
