Britton-Hecla had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-31, 25-22, 25-15, 25-13.
Britton-Hecla's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ava Teveldal, who had 19 digs and two assists, and Kennady Van Lith, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Van Lith has posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, Clark/Willow Lake got the win against Tiospa Zina on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cyclones in their matchups with the Wambdi: they've now won three in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Clark/Willow Lake took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-6, 25-15.
Britton-Hecla now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Clark/Willow Lake, their win bumped their record up to 22-0.
