Basketball Recap: Harford Tech's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After flying high against Perryville last Thursday, Harford Tech came back down to earth. The Harford Tech Cobras fell to the Fallston Cougars 58-54. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-40 back in December of 2024.

Fallston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Robinson, who went 5 for 9 en route to 13 points and seven boards. Robinson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Sweitzer, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Harford Tech moved to 7-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Fallston, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Harford Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-53 loss against Bohemia Manor on the 30th. As for Fallston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-33 victory against North East on the 30th.
