Basketball Recap: Marquette University Comes Up Short

If Marquette University was feeling good fresh off their 82-56 takedown of West Allis Hale on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marquette University Hilltoppers took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kettle Moraine Lasers. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Lasers are ranked third).

Marquette University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kettle Moraine, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
