Baseball Recap: McCamey Gets the Win

McCamey took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against Alpine, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Badgers won by a run and slipped past the Bucks 5-4. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by just one run.

Steven Rodriguez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. McCamey is 3-1 when Rodriguez posts two or more runs, but 1-5 otherwise.

The victory made it two in a row for McCamey and bumps their season record up to 4-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Alpine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCamey will host Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alpine, they will take on Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
