Baseball Game Preview: North Side Steers vs. Paschal Panthers

For the second straight game, North Side will face off against Paschal. The Steers will head out to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Side has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Side fell victim to Paschal and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Steers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Paschal has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Side, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
