Basketball Game Preview: Great Bridge Wildcats vs. Nansemond River Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Great Bridge Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Nansemond River Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Bridge has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 11.

It was a proper cat-fight when Great Bridge faced off against Pasquotank County on Monday. Great Bridge fell 63-54 to Pasquotank County.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Nansemond River's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Princess Anne.

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Nansemond River, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Great Bridge came up short against Nansemond River in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 53-46. Can Great Bridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
