Football Recap: Daniel Boone Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Daniel Boone Trailblazers had to suffer through a 56-14 loss at the hands of the Jefferson County Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Trailblazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Patriots are ranked 49th).

Daniel Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jefferson County, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will challenge Morristown-Hamblen West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trailblazers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jefferson County, they will take on Powell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
