Manning came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Mullins, but Na'Riyah Woodberry wouldn't allow it. The Mullins Auctioneers secured a 67-61 W over the Manning Monarchs on Friday thanks in part to Woodberry, who went 8 for 12 en route to 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Moriah McLeod, who went 5 of 7 to rack up 12 points and five rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's played.

Manning lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aysia Moore, who went 6 for 15 on her way to 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Ameerah Conyers, who posted eight points in addition to 15 rebounds and eight blocks.

Mullins now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Manning, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Mullins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-38 loss against East Clarendon on the 4th. As for Manning, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-41 defeat against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on the 4th.
