Baseball Recap: Croatan Cougars vs. White Oak Vikings

Croatan put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They never let the White Oak Vikings onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. The victory was nothing new for Croatan as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Demercurio, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Nathan Griffin, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Croatan pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for White Oak, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Greene Central will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something Croatan surely won't give up without a fight. As for White Oak, they will head out on the road to face off against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Oak is facing Dixon at the right time seeing as Dixon is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
