Baseball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Eagles vs. Laytonville Warriors

The Victory Christian Academy Eagles will head out to challenge the Laytonville Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Victory Christian Academy came out on top against Grace Christian Academy on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Eagles walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Eddie Lindstrom was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
