Football Recap: Gregory's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian last Friday, Gregory came back down to earth. The Gorillas lost 42-18 to the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers on Friday. The Gorillas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gregory fell to 2-1. As for Platte/Geddes, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gregory is set to square off against their familiar foe Bon Homme at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Platte/Geddes will face off against rival Kimball/White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
