Football Game Preview: Reardan Screaming Eagles vs. Medical Lake Cardinals + How To Watch

The Reardan Screaming Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Medical Lake Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Reardan and 13 for Medical Lake dating back to last season.

Reardan's last matchup with Newport could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Screaming Eagles were beaten by the Grizzlies 43-0. While losing is never fun, the Screaming Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, Medical Lake played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Lakeside, falling 62-8. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-0.

Medical Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Reardan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Reardan against Medical Lake when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Screaming Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
