Soccer Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens lost against Taft back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stevens Falcons lost 6-0 to the Taft Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Raiders are ranked 77th).

Stevens' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Taft, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Coincidentally, Stevens and Taft will both be playing Warren the next time they take the pitch. Stevens will host Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Taft will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
