Football Game Preview: Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes vs. Shawano Community Hawks

The Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes will take on the Shawano Community Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Fox Valley Lutheran came up short against Winneconne and fell 38-31. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Wolves are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, Shawano Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waupaca. On the bright side, the 21- point effort marked the Hawks' highest-scoring game to date.

Shawano Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Fox Valley Lutheran strolled past Shawano Community when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 31-14. Will the Foxes repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
