Baseball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Mulvane Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Monday.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mulvane, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Augusta by a score of 11-1 later that day.
