Colcord is 8-1 against Kansas since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hornets will square off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Colcord has given up an average of 28 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, after only nine points in their last game, Kansas made sure to put some points up on the board against Chelsea on Friday. The Comets blew past the Dragons, posting a 40-8 win. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kansas' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Colcord, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Colcord against Kansas in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
