Volleyball Recap: Bound Brook Comes Up Short

Bound Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Hunterdon Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Bound Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for North Hunterdon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bound Brook will head out to take on Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Hunterdon, they will challenge St. John-Vianney at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
