Baseball Recap: Everett Alvarez Takes a Loss

Everett Alvarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Stevenson Pirates, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 last Wednesday.

Everett Alvarez saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Garcia, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Stevenson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Everett Alvarez wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-5 victory against Alisal on the 2nd. As for Stevenson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 win against North Monterey County on the 2nd.
