Volleyball Recap: Marana Tigers vs. Corona del Sol Aztecs

After flying high against Rincon/University last Tuesday, Marana came back down to earth. The Marana Tigers lost 3-0 to the Corona del Sol Aztecs on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4, 25-9.

Corona del Sol found their leader in underclassman Adelyn Chang, who had five aces and three digs. The dominant performance gave Chang a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Avalon Legg, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Marana has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Corona del Sol, they pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
