Basketball Recap: Omak Takes a Loss

Omak was the 78-49 winner over Okanogan when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Omak Pioneers were dealt a 74-42 defeat at the hands of the Okanogan Bulldogs on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 52nd).

Omak is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7. As for Okanogan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omak will take on Cascade at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Omak is facing Cascade at the right time seeing as Cascade is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Okanogan, they will face off against Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
