Basketball Game Preview: Omak Pioneers vs. Lakeside Eagles

The Omak Pioneers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lakeside Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Omak is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Chelan just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 54-46 to the Mountain Goats.

Meanwhile, Lakeside had to suffer through a 68-33 loss at the hands of Colfax. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Omak's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lakeside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Omak came up short against Lakeside in their previous meeting back in February, falling 64-53. Can Omak avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
