Niceville is a perfect 6-0 against Milton since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Niceville didn't have quite enough to beat Choctawhatchee and fell 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 25-20 in the first set.

Niceville took Choctawhatchee into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-22, 18-25, 15-9.

Janey Elder put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had six digs and four aces.

Meanwhile, Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Pensacola.

Milton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pensacola work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 23-25, 26-24, 15-12.

Niceville will have to contain Emily Hope as she made an impact in Milton's last game. She had 12 aces and ten digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carstyn Black, who had six digs and four aces.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Niceville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Niceville has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Milton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
