Volleyball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clarksville can now relate to. They came up short against the Eastern Musketeers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Generals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 13 in a row.

Eastern had a senior duo take command as Addison Smith hit 100% for eight kills and six aces and one block and Eliza Starrett had 11 digs and two aces. Smith has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Eastern, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 27-5.

Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastern, they will take on Paoli at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
