Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Collegiate Takes a Loss

Brooklyn Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Eagle Academy II Eagle 101-54. While losing is never fun, Brooklyn Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while Eagle Academy II is ranked 22nd).

Brooklyn Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Eagle Academy II, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Boys & Girls the next time they take the court. Brooklyn Collegiate will host Boys & Girls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Eagle Academy II will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
