Softball Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill fell victim to Brook Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Guard, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Spring Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Robinett, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 16-12-1. As for Brook Hill, their record is now 3-4.

Looking ahead, Spring Hill will square off against Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. Brook Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
