Keeshawn Love's Big Game Leads Fernley over Churchill County

Starting off the list is Fernley's Keeshawn Love, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Love rushed for 190 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.

If the past is any indication, Love could be in store for another big game when he takes on Lowry on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Love saw the Buckaroos), he rushed for 225 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry.

Truckee picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jace Estabrook. Estabrook produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Those 132 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Estabrook and Truckee will face off against Elko at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Estabrook will face off against Ethan Kraintz, the Indians' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Big Game from Bird As Churchill County Fell 31-21

Churchill County had to settle for second on Friday, but Matthew Bird sure wasn't going down easily. Bird turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Churchill County now has a losing record at 3-4. Bird and Churchill County will head out on the road to face off against Spring Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bryce Stephens Dazzles in Fernley Win

Another Fernley player making an appearance on this list is Bryce Stephens. He rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 130 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.
