Basketball Recap: McKinney Christian Academy Comes Up Short

McKinney Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 47-28 bruising from the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

McKinney Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinney Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Covenant at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Coram Deo Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coram Deo Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Legacy Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
