Basketball Recap: Lansdale Catholic Comes Up Short

Lansdale Catholic lost a heartbreaker to Conwell-Egan Catholic when they met back in February of 2022, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Crusaders took an 82-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (68), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Lansdale Catholic has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Lansdale Catholic will square off against Roman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Cahillite have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they will face off against Father Judge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.41 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
