Softball Recap: Metro Tech Takes a Loss

Metro Tech couldn't beat Carl Hayden Community on Monday even though they stacked nine runs on them in the first inning. The Knights lost 30-10 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-6 back in March.

Maria Mada made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Brianna Aispuro Avilez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Carl Hayden Community, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

As of now, neither Metro Tech nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
