Soccer Recap: Wellston vs. Western
For the first time this season, Wellston was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Western Indians could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Harry Fry was handed one for the Golden Rockets, while the Indians got theirs courtesy of Brody Dennison.

Ethan Huston scored all three of Wellston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.
With that draw, Wellston's record moves to 3-5-1. Meanwhile, Western's record is now 4-5-1.
Wellston will host Alexander at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wellston is facing Alexander at the right time seeing as Alexander is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Western, they are taking a road trip to take on West Union at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Western is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
