Basketball Recap: Carver Birmingham Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Carver Birmingham lost against Ramsay on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Carver Birmingham Rams fell to the Ramsay Rams 49-43. While losing is never fun, Carver Birmingham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Ramsay is ranked eighth).

Carver Birmingham's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Ramsay, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.

Carver Birmingham will venture away from home to challenge Moody at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Carver Birmingham is facing Moody at the right time seeing as Moody is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Ramsay has already played their next match (against Leeds), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
