Soccer Recap: Green Run's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

While Green Run's win against Norcom wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stallions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Greyhounds 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Green Run were the better team in the second half.

The win snapped Green Run's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-10 record. As for Norcom, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Green Run wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against First Colonial on the 13th. As for Norcom, they will challenge Booker T. Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
