Basketball Recap: Patton Comes Up Short

Patton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the R-S Central Hilltoppers. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hilltoppers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Lai Flack continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for R-S Central, putting up 21 points. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Flack has scored at least a third of R-S Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Niah Fritts, who posted ten points.

Patton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for R-S Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Patton will head out on the road to square off against Brevard at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for R-S Central, they will venture away from home to face off against East Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
