Softball Recap: Paraclete's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Paraclete had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They never let the St. Anthony Saints get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spirits, who have now won 11 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Paraclete's win bumped their record up to 17-1-1. As for St. Anthony, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paraclete will take on rival Bishop Amat at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spirits are on a 19-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Lancers a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, St. Anthony is set to face off against their familiar foe Saint Joseph at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
