Tenino came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Elma Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 61-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-49 two weeks ago.

When it comes to explaining why Elma lost, don't look at Isaac McGaffey. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. Those 24 points gave McGaffey a new career-high. Matthew Wood was another key player, putting up four points.

Tenino's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Elma, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
