Baseball Recap: Mountain House Comes Up Short

Mountain House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Central Catholic Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Monday.

Mountain House saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lennox Morgan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

While Mountain House had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
