Volleyball Recap: Alcuin Victorious

Alcuin is still undefeated this season after their match against Waxahachie Prep on Friday, but Waxahachie Prep came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Hawks came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since October 24, 2024.

Alcuin's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Waxahachie Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season.

Alcuin will take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waxahachie Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
