Oak Glen entered their tilt with Herbert Hoover on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Bears also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Oak Glen had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Oak Glen's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Herbert Hoover, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Glen will host Brooke at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Herbert Hoover, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Buffalo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
