Basketball Recap: Middlesex Comes Up Short

Middlesex and New Providence squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Middlesex had to settle for second. They fell 78-69 to the New Providence Pioneers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (58), the Bluejays still had to take the loss.

Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for New Providence, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-15.

As of now, neither Middlesex nor New Providence have any future games scheduled.
