Baseball Recap: Bellingham Bayhawks vs. Mt. Baker Mountaineers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bellingham). Everything went their way against the Mt. Baker Mountaineers on Thursday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Kai Nelson was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Bellingham is undefeated when Nelson posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise.
