Softball Recap: Williamson Comes Up Short

Williamson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Gananda Central Blue Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-2 back in April.

Isabella Lagoner and Olivia Bearce stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lagoner went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Bearce went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was Bearce's first of the season.

Williamson's record now sits at 0-11. As for Gananda Central, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Coming up, Williamson will take on East Rochester at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gananda Central, they will host Lyons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
