Balmorhea came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 50-38 win over the Sierra Blanca Vaqueros. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-31 back in December of 2024.

Balmorhea has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for Sierra Blanca, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Balmorhea will look to defend their home court on Friday against Alpine at 6:00 p.m. Alpine will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Balmorhea surely won't give up without a fight. Sierra Blanca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
