Basketball Recap: North Plainfield Comes Up Short

North Plainfield and Cranford squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but North Plainfield had to settle for second. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Canucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Cranford, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.

North Plainfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cranford, they will take on Chatham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cranford will need to watch out since Chatham has now posted at least 55 points in their last 15 matchups.
