Avon has gone 8-2 against Steele recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Comets at 12:30 p.m. Avon will be strutting in after a win while Steele will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Avon turned things around against Midview on Wednesday. They walked away with a 54-47 victory over the Middies.

Meanwhile, Steele was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elyria.

Avon's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Steele, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything went Avon's way against Steele when the teams last played back in January, as Avon made off with a 54-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
